The annual Americana Parade and Festival will be held in Centerville on July 5th starting with a 5K and ending with a parade and a street food fair! Typically more than 85,000 people attend. This year SouthBrook is looking for 200 volunteers to help with this event: 40 volunteers will assist with carrying the banner in the parade and the rest of the volunteers will assist with clean up after the event.
Banner Carriers will get a free t-shirt and meet at 9:00 at the Centerville High School and should be done by 11:30. The clean up crew will meet at Routsong Funeral Home at 4:00 to help tear down tables and chairs. All volunteers will also be welcome at the hospitality house throughout the event where they can grab some water, rest and connect with other SouthBrookers.
