COOKIES AND HOW WE USE THEM
What are cookies?
Cookies enable us to customize and personalize your experience for certain parts of our Service. Essentially, a cookie is a small data file that is sent to your browser from a web server and is stored on your computer’s hard drive. It enables our Service to identify your computer as you view different pages or areas within our Service.
Cookies allow websites and applications to store your preferences in order to present content, options or functions that are specific to you. They also enable us to see information like how many people use our Service and what pages or areas they tend to visit.
How we use cookies
We use cookies in several different purposes in connection with the operation of our Service:
• Store information about your preferences: We may use cookies to identify you and access your information stored on our computers in order to deliver you a better and more personalized experience.
• Identify whether you are signed in to our Service: A cookie allows us to check whether you are signed in to the Service. Upon request, we will save your “user name” so that you do not have to re-enter it every time you visit our Service – this requires use of a cookie.
• Analyze traffic using analytics package: We may use cookies to estimate the size of our user base and usage patterns. Each browser accessing our Service is given a unique cookie that is then used to determine the extent of repeat visits and the user’s activity during those visits. We may use the historical information to help target promotions based on user interests and behavior, both specifically to individual users and on an aggregate basis with respect to all users. Aggregated usage data helps us improve the Service structure, design, content and functions.
• Promotions: We also may use cookies to track your progress and number of entries in some promotions and contests, or through a registration process. For example, when a promotion uses cookies, the information coded to the cookie indicates your progress through the promotion, and may be used to track entries, submissions and status of prize drawings.
• Test content on our Service: For example, 50% of our users might see one piece of content, while the other 50% may see a different piece of content.
• To retarget you on other websites: Such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and/or other websites you may visit on the internet.
Controlling Cookies
Cookies do not provide us with access to your computer or any information about you, other than that which you choose to share with us. You have several choices with respect to cookies. You can modify your browser preferences to accept all cookies, to notify you when a cookie is set, or to reject all cookies. If you choose to reject all cookies, you may no longer be able to log onto our Service and/or utilize the content of the Service.
CONTROLLING INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
When you fill in a form or provide your information and details on our Service, you may see one or more tick boxes allowing you to: (1) “opt-in” to receive marketing communications from us by email, telephone, text message or regular mail, or (2) if you do not uncheck a pre-checked “opt-in” box we may from time to time send you marketing communications by email, telephone, text message or regular mail.

For your protection, we only implement requests with respect to the personal information associated with the particular email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request.
Please note that your request does not guarantee complete or comprehensive removal or deletion of the content or information, as, for example, some of your content may have been reposted by other users on or within the Service or on City Lights’ social media pages.
SHARING INFORMATION ABOUT YOU
We do not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone unless we have your permission or the law requires us to do so. SALE OR MERGER
We have a legitimate interest in transferring or disclosing your personal identifiable information to a third party if we are involved in a reorganization, merger, acquisition or asset sale, and your personally identifiable information may be transferred to another party as part of the transaction. In such an event, data you provided to us, where it is relevant to any part of the business transaction, will be transferred to the new owner or new controlling entity who will be permitted to use the data for the purposes for which the data was originally collected by us. In this event, we will notify you in advance of the transaction and inform you of the changes.
