Come and learn about the purpose of City Lights, meet fellow Southbrookers, discuss the various ways we can "be the light" for one another and our local community, and have some fun along the way!
Saturday, May 2nd - 9am-12pm: SAFE on Main Spruce Up Day - meet at the SAFE on Main Administrative Office located at 420 E. Main St. Lebanon. Planting, weeding, and powerwashing are on the list of To Dos. If you have any of the following items, please bring them along: pressure washer, shovel, old blankets/sheets or tarp, rototiller, trowel, rake, and work gloves.
Tuesday May 19th - 6:30-7:45pm: City Lights Meeting at the Springboro Library. During this meeting, we will create "Seeds of Hope" Kits - laundry baskets filled with some essential items. These kits will be delivered to families receiving much needed furniture and household items through the Planting Seeds ministry. You can sign up for items you'd like to donate here: SouthBrook City Lights Springboro: "Seeds of Hope Kits". If you want to donate items but are not able to attend the May 19th meeting - no worries! On the Sign Up sheet you will find that Paula and Ron have provided a solution
Saturday, May 30th - 4:00pm - is our Annual Picnic at the home of Connie and John Pfeiffer - 572 Natalie Lane in Lebanon. You'll know you found the right house when you see a 10' clock at the end of the driveway! Monday, June 29th - 6:30-7:45pm: City Lights Meeting at the Springboro Library
Next time you are out shopping, consider adding a couple of items to your cart to help those in need. You can drop off items anytime at the Springboro Community Assistance Center. SCAC is located next to the Springboro Junior High School in the Educare building. Donation containers are located outside the Educare front door.
