What is CarePortal? In a nutshell, CarePortal is a care-sharing technology service that is working with a number of our schools, and communities and their school counselors, child welfare agency workers, etc. that learn of local kids and their families in crisis. After vetting these situations, the counselors, agency workers, etc. will then submit that need to CarePortal.
We have selected the general geographical area right now of SouthBrook/Miamisburg, etc. to view the needs of families in that area. Our CarePortal team will see these needs as they open CarePortal. If the need falls in the boundaries we have determined, then we will select that need to meet. It might be as simple as a single mom in need of diapers or grandparents who just received custody of their grandkids and need dressers, etc. Once the need goes out you simply reply if you can help.
